Why we love this: What if the eye-catching visuals from Olipop (A Pencil fav) joined forces with creative AI? Pretty cool right?

We love this ad because it reminds customers that there is a lightweight way to try Olipop and find out what flavor is best for you before taking the leap into buying individual flavors. All this while showing you very clearly, how things are shipped so you know what experience you're in for. (I'd buy from this ad 🤫)

Content that matters 🐐

Why it matters: Your looking at your competitor's ads, right? Why not turn back the clock and look at the best ads created? Our favorite is #56 - the reverse selfie by Dove.

Why it matters: You didn't think Meta was just going to roll over post iOS 14 did you? There's too much to lose for them! "Basic Ads" would focus on engagement metrics and focus entirely on what the CREATIVE is delivering.

But what about the performance? MER can help you determine at a blended level how much these ads are helping you drive meaningful impact to bottom-line revenue generation.

Why it matters: The way I read this is DTC first business still have a sizeable advantage over the retailers moving into DTC.

This advantage is due to the fact that OG DTC brands have built in the ability to absorb some of the margin issues that retail players haven't been able to right-size + the speed at which DTC brands innovate their offering.

They will never get scrappy enough to win on innovation alone (they will throw money at the problem), so keep driving your business forward, move fast, stay creatively differentiated, and keep innovating!
